SRM, a 2-hour weekly class for children, comprises of just 30 students per class. It is a comprehensive course consisting of 10 terms spanning 5 years. Children aged 3.5 years onwards may join the course. Each SRM centre follows the same pre-set syllabus, which is uniform across all the other centres and is closely connected to the Mother Centre. In each term, the children take inspiration from the lives of 2 or 3 saints and connect these values to their own lives.

Every SRM teacher, whom the children fondly call 'didi', is formally trained in theory and practicals through specialized Teachers' Training Programmes conducted by experts from across the world. The teachers are not only trained in diction and delivery but also in child psychology, enabling them to understand and cater to the feelings and thoughts of every single child.
