3. SRM at the Mahavir Jayanti Celebrations in London

On Saturday, 26th April, 2008, nearly 20 Jain organizations of UK collaborated to hold Mahavir Jayanti celebrations which were attended by over 1800 people. While parents listened to the speeches by keynote speakers, SRM London was approached to manage the Children’s Corner there, thus exposing many children to the ‘magic’ of SRM.

More than 50 children aged 3 - 12 years were attracted to the SRM session on Trishlamata’s 14 Dreams. Creativity Time was one of fun and frolic as children enthusiastically created, waved colourful decorated flags, and shared their aspirations to be just like their Mahavirswami Bhagwan.

The session was highly commended by parents and passersby who enthusiastically praised the effort and picked up SRM brochures for their family and friends.

The organiser of the Education Session, Kewal Shah of Young Jains, UK, thanked SRM with the words ‘‘…thank you all for Magictouch, the amazing kids’ activity!’
