From time immemorial, the eternal lineage of saints has been represented through various individuals. This powerful spiritual legacy is carried forward in the present times by Shrimad's ardent devotee, Pujyashri Rakeshbhai Jhaveri, whom we lovingly address as Gurudev, Saheb or Bapa. Born on the auspicious day of 26th September, 1966 in Mumbai, to Smt. Rekhaben and Shri Dilipbhai Jhaveri, He showed signs of divinity at a very young age. From the tender age of 4, for long hours, He would remain engrossed in meditation and other spiritual activities. At the age of 8, on seeing Shrimad's photograph for the first time, He established continuity with His past spiritual attainments, resulting in an acceleration of His spiritual pursuit.

During the period of 1985 to 1991, Pujyashri's extraordinary brilliance, enabled Him to effortlessly master profound subjects like the Six Fundamental Schools of Thought, Shwetambar and Digambar Jain scriptures, Logic, Philosophy and Sanskrit, to name a few. Observing long periods of silence, going deeper into meditation and various other spiritual practices resulted in His attaining greater heights of spirituality.

Academically, having passed M.A. (Philosophy) with a gold medal, He wrote an extensive research treatise on Shrimad's finest literary creation, 'Shri Atmasiddhi Shastra' (a poetic composition on Self-Realization), for which the University of Mumbai conferred on Him the degree of Ph.D. in 1998.

His divine love and extraordinary virtues; His ability to endear anyone, be it a small baby or an 80-year-old, to relate to child and scholar alike - at their own level; His cheerful disposition, broad vision and keen foresight; His personalized, simple yet effective guidance to each devotee has spiritually transformed their lives. But above all, His devotion towards His Guru Shrimad Rajchandra and commitment towards His Guru's mission are a source of great inspiration embodying the quintessence of true love.

Since the last 25 years, several seekers are spiritually advancing under Pujyashri's able guidance. The many fold increase in the number of devotees led to the formation of a trust, 'Shrimad Rajchandra Adhyatmik Satsang Sadhana Kendra' in 1994. Inspired by Him, the group is involved in various spiritual activities such as satsang (discourse), bhakti (devotional prayer), jap (chanting), tap (austerity), dharma yatra (pilgrimage) and dhyan shibirs (meditation workshops).

To facilitate these activities, under the blessings of Pujyashri, in 2001, on the auspicious day of Mahavir Jayanti, 'Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram' was established on the blessed land of Dharampur. On that very auspicious day, along with Pujyashri, 24 other life-long celibate devotees took pratimas (vows), advancing towards their goal of complete renunciation - monkhood.
