  • Announcements made at Param Satsang(06-07-2008)

    1. A special programme, ‘Shrimad Rajchandra ane Gandhiji’ to be aired on Akashvani
      • A special series, ‘Shrimad Rajchandra ane Gandhiji’ will be aired on Akashvani as a part of the programme ‘Gandhi vandana’ in order to introduce people to the spiritual relationship shared by Param Krupalu Dev, Shrimad Rajchandraji and Gandhiji. Shri Raj – Sobhag Satsang Mandal, Sayla, has organized this special series.
      • The Mumbai, Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Bhuj, Godhara, Ahwa and Daman centres of the Akashvani will relay this series every Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. for 13 weeks from July 4th to September 26th, 2008.

    2. Gurupurnima Celebrations
      • The auspicious day of Gurupurnima will be celebrated on Sunday, July 20th at Yogi Sabhagruh.
      • The details of the programme are:

      • The forthcoming Satsang Shibir is from July 25th to July 27th.

    2. P.P.Gurudev’s Dharmayatra to Kolkata
      • P.P.Gurudev’s next dharmayatra will be to Kolkata. This dharmayatra will be from Monday, July 7th to Sunday, July 13th, 2008.
      • During this dharmayatra, P.P.Gurudev will bless the mumukshus with satsangs based on Shri Vachanamrutji as well as satsangs based on the compositions of Gangasati. A retreat – ‘The Tagore Retreat’ for the mumukshus of Kolkata etc. has also been organized.

    Announcements made at Param Satsang(18-05-2008)

    1. P.P.Gurudev’s Dharmayatra to Africa
      • P.P.Gurudev’s Dharmayatra to Africa will start from May 19th, 2008.
      • He will first visit South Africa, where He will expound the meanings of five poetic compositions of Shri Gangasati.
      • He will be visiting Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town etc. in South Africa.
      • From South Africa, He will leave for Kenya, where He will give satsangs based on Vachanamrutji in Nairobi and Mombasa.
      • A retreat on ‘Wisdom on cooling the flames of anger’ will also be held there.
      • From Kenya He will leave for Uganda, where He will give satsangs at Kampala.
      • He will then give satsangs in Zanzibar and also at the Jain Center and the Hindu Mandir in Dar es Salaam which is in Tanzania.
      • He will be arriving in India on June 17th by Air India at 2:30 a.m.

    2. Divine Discourses: 2nd set of English translations on sale
      • The 2nd set of the Divine Discourses - an English translation of six discourses of P.P.Gurudev, is available on sale from today.

    3. Subsidized distribution of notebooks and stationary items
      • The subsidized distribution of notebooks and other stationery items, carried out by Shrimad Rajchandra Educational Trust (SRET) for the last three years, is being expanded to benefit 15000 children this year.
      • These notebooks are now available for sale for all mumukshus also.
      • Those who wish to contribute to this noble cause, can contact Shri Maheshbhai Khokhani.

    4. Satsang Shibir in June
      • The next Satsang Shibir in the Ashram is from June 27th to June 29th.

    6. Change in Param Satsang date of August
      • The Param Satsang originally scheduled on the August 17th is now preponed to August 10th, as P.P.Gurudev will be in the Ashram after August 10th.

    Announcements made at Param Satsang(04-05-2008)

    1. Revised rates for Satsang Webcast
      • It is a matter of immense pleasure, that due to the overwhelming response to the satsang webcast facility, the per user cost incurred has decreased. In lieu of this, the rates for each satsang webcast have been reduced. The revised rates are as follows:

        1. Rs.80/- for a single satsang.
        2. Rs.1200/- for 50 hours.
        3. Rs.4000/- for 200 hours.

      • The number of hours will be proportionately credited to the accounts of those who have already enrolled as per the previous rates.
      • Those who wish to avail of only the ‘audio webcast’, will be credited with double the number of hours, at the same cost.
      • Not only Param Satsangs, but both the Mahotsavs celebrated in the Ashram, Paryushan Parva and satsangs given by P.P.Gurudev during His domestic and international dharmayatras will also be webcast.
      • This year, apart from Dharampur, P.P.Gurudev will conduct satsang shibirs in the following places:

    2. Activities at the Ashram
      • During P.P.Gurudev’s dharmayatra to Africa, the following events have been organized at the Ashram.

    3. P.P.Gurudev’s Dharmayatra to Kolkata
      • This year P.P.Gurudev’s dharmayatra to Kolkata will be held from July 7th to July 13th, 2008.
      • He will reach Kolkata on July 7th. A retreat - ’Tagore Retreat’ has been organized near Shri Rabindranath Tagore’s residence from July 8th to July 10th.
      • Mumukshus from Kolkata will be given preference to attend the retreat. If there are any vacancies, only then will mumukshus from other places be registered for this retreat.
      • After the retreat, satsangs have been organized at the Vidya Mandir in Kolkata from July 10th to July 13th. These satsangs are open to all.
      • The auspicious occasion of Gurupurnima will be celebrated on July 13th after the morning Satsang.

    Announcements made at Param Satsang(06-04-2008)

    1. Rangotsav 2008 Video Recordings on Sale
      • In order that one may cherish the moments spent in Rangotsav 2008, a set containing a DVD and a Photo CD of the same is now available on sale.
      • The DVD contains the highlights of the event and also the satsang, ‘Ramiye to Rangma’.

    2. Shibirs on Hey Prabhu!
      • As we all know, the year 2008 has been declared as the year of introspection by P.P.Gurudev.
      • In order to deepen this introspection and to make our daily kram more meaningful, shibirs on ‘Hey Prabhu! Hey Prabhu!’ have been organized as under :

        1. Jivanarpit – Hridayarpit Group Shibir in February (Nainital)
          • P.P.Gurudev Himself had expounded the meanings of Hey Prabhu!
          • Atmarpit Apurva Kothari had also offered seva in this shibir.
        2. Sarvarpit Group Shibir in January (Dharampur)
        3. Sharnarpit Group Shibir in February (Dharampur)
          • Both these shibirs were conducted by Atmarpit Raju Desai.
          • The members of the Premarpit Group also attended these shibirs.

      • In addition, all the members of these groups are doing the sadhana of contemplating over the meanings of this marvellous composition in their daily kram.
      • In order to check how much the meanings of this composition have really been grasped and understood, P.P.Gurudev had arranged for a surprise exam to be taken in the group meetings while He was in Retreat.
      • A shibir had also been organized in Pune from March 29th – April 2nd which was conducted by Atmarpit Apurva Kothari and attended by about 100 people.
      • During P.P.Gurudev’s dharmayatra to Africa, Atmarpit Raju Desai will conduct the following shibirs of ‘Hey Prabhu’ :

        • May - Dharampur.
        • June - Kolkata.
        • July - London and Manchester (U.K.)

      • Exams will be held at all these places following the shibir.

    3. Varshitap Parna
      • The parna of those mumukshus who began their Varshitap Aradhana last year with P.P.Gurudev’s ajna will be held on Thursday, May 8th.
      • They are requested to give their names to Atmarpit Mita Sanghvi by Thursday, April 10th.
      • Those who wish to make a financial contribution towards the same may contact Shri Maheshbhai Khokhani.

    4. Sthapna at “Mahavir Super Speciality Hospital – Trauma Centre” in Surat
      • P.P.Gurudev will be in Surat on Sunday, April 13th.
      • The Sthapna of Shri Mahavir Bhagwan, Gandhar Bhagwan Shri Gautam Swami and Param Krupalu Dev’s idols will take place at Mahavir Super Speciality Hospital – Trauma Centre.
      • There will be a Shobhayatra in the morning followed by bhakti and the Sthapna.

    5. Aradhana to be done on Param Krupalu Dev’s Param Samadhi Din

    1. Forthcoming Sadhana Bhatti in April

    2. A New Centre of Shrimad Rajchandra Magictouch (SRM)

    3. Rangotsav Celebrations
      • Mumukshus take their vows (Vrat grahan) on Dhuleti, i.e. Saturday, March 22nd 2008.
      • Those who wish to take these vows should fill the ‘Deshvirti Jeevan Praveshika’ by dhuleti. This book is available at our Main Centre in Mumbai, Bombay Market Apts.

    4. P.P.Gurudev’s Dharmayatra to Rajkot and Ahmedabad
      • Following the Ashram Sthapanadin Mahotsav, P.P.Gurudev will visit Rajkot and Ahmedabad.

      • The speciality of this centre is that it will begin with 100 children.
      • 3 classes of the 1st term will be conducted simultaneously.

    4. P.P.Gurudev’s Satsang in Mulund
      • On Sunday, March 9th, bhakti and satsang have been organized by the Lions Club of Mulund from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
      • Mumukshus of Central suburbs of Mumbai may attend the satsang.

    5. Varshitap Aradhana
      • Those who wish to participate in the Varshitap Aradhana beginning on Sunday, March 30th, 2008 are requested to meet P.P.Gurudev after the forthcoming Param Satsang i.e. March 16th, 2008.

    6. P.P.Gurudev’s Dharamyatra To Rajkot And Ahmedabad
      • Every year P.P.Gurudev visits Rajkot to commemorate the Param Samadhi Day of Param Krupalu Dev.
      • This year, He will be in Rajkot from April 24th to April 26th.
      • Satsangs of various saints and speakers and bhakti have been specially organized during this time.
      • P.P.Gurudev’s satsang is scheduled to be held in the afternoon on Chaitra Vad Pancham i.e. Friday, April 25th 2008.
      • P.P.Gurudev will then proceed to Ahmedabad where four satsangs have been organized from April 26th to April 28th 2008.
      • The satsangs are open for all, but mumukshus will have to make arrangements for their own food and lodging.

    1. P.P.Gurudev’s satsangs to be telecast on Aastha channel in the near future
      • Shri Kiritbhai Mehta, Managing Director of Aastha Channel, who was present at the Shrimad Rajchandra Youthwing Sports Award Distribution Ceremony, announced that P. P. Gurudev’s Satsangs would soon be telecast on Aastha National and Aastha International Channels.

    2. Samarpit Group Shibir, May 2008
      • Those who wish to enroll in the Samarpit Group and attend the Samarpit Shibir in May can register with the area leaders at ‘Kid’s Corner’.
      • Children of standards 5th to 10th of the academic year 2008-2009 are eligible to apply for enrolment in the Samarpit Group.


    Announcements made at Param Satsang(06-01-2008)

    1. Swadhyay of Shri Uttaradhyayan Sutra
      • The weekly swadhyay this year will include the study of Shri Uttaradhyayan Sutra. An important change that will take place in order to increase the depth of this study is that the fortnightly exams that were earlier based on P. P. Gurudev’s satsangs will now be based on Shri Uttaradhyayan Sutra.
      • The details of the Swadhyay Schedule are available in this year’s diary and also online.

    2. Satsang Shibirs in the year 2008
      • P.P Gurudev’s satsangs during this year’s shibirs and dharmaprabhavna yatras will be based on the poetic compositions of Shri Gangasati.
      • An abridged book of these compositions titled, ‘Gangasati em boliya re’, has been published by the organization and is also available on sale. This book also has a brief explanation of each composition.
      • An MP3 of the shibir based on the composition ‘Vijline chamkare’ is now available on sale.

    3. MP3 of Satsangs on Jnansaar now available on Sale
      • P.P.Gurudev's satsangs during shibirs in the year 2007 were based on Jnansaar by Upadhyaya Shri Yashovijayji.
      • All 108 of these satsangs have been compiled as a set of 4 MP3s, which is now available on sale.

    4. MP3 of Param Satsangs of the year 2007 now available on Sale
      • An MP3 containing all the Param Satsangs held in the year 2007 is also now available on sale.

    5. MP3 on “wisdom for cooling the flames of anger”
      • There has been some data loss due to a technical error in the MP3 on ‘The wisdom for cooling the flames of anger’ that was launched on December 23rd.

      • Those who had purchased these MP3s at that time are requested to have them exchanged for corrected ones.

    6. Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital (SRH)
      • SRH organized an NRI Shram Shibir & a Multi–Specialty mega camp on December 28th, 29th & 30th.
      • On December 28th & 29th NRIs & other mumukshus distributed first-aid kits & hospital brochures in the Dharampur and Kaprada regions thus bringing awareness to the students and local people about the various activities and facilities of SRH & the Mega Camp organized by the hospital. They further reiterated that SRH is a hospital for the people and its mission is to serve them.
      • The Mega camp held on December 30th received an overwhelming response. Every year about 1500-1700 patients were treated in the mega camps, but this year over 4000 patients were examined & treated.
      • There were about 60 doctors & 250 volunteers at the camp.
      • SRH thanks all those who helped make this camp a success.
      • Out of 4000 patients, 1000 patients needed intensive treatment.
      • 150 patients have registered for various eye surgeries. Of these, 25 paediatric surgeries will be performed by ophthalmologists in Mumbai.
      • In addition, 108 patients have been scheduled for surgeries including both supra major & major operations.
      • All examination & treatment in this camp was carried out free of charge.
      • The cost of the surgical treatment itself is likely to amount to about Rs.10 lacs. Those who wish to contribute to this noble cause may contact the Shrimad Rajchandra Medical Trust.

    7. Shrimad Rajchandra Youthwing Activities
      • Shrimad Rajchandra Youthwing (SRY) is organizing the annual sports finals on January 12th &13th 2008.
      • Cricket finals will be played in Valsad on Sunday, January 13th.
      • P. P. Gurudev will grace the event by His presence. The participants will receive awards from Him after the match.
      • The match is open for all & the passes can be collected from Bombay Market before January 9th between 7:45 a.m and 8:15 a.m.

    8. Forthcoming Sadhana Bhatti
      • The forthcoming Sadhana Bhatti will begin on Monday, January 21st for which participants should reach the Ashram at dinner. The Bhatti will conclude on Wednesday, January 23rd at 10 p.m.
