A Baal Mela was organized in the Ashram by Shrimad Rajchandra Educational Trust along with Shri Vedchhi Pradesh Seva Samiti on Wednesday, 10th March, '10. Over 600 children from six schools of Dharampur and Kaprada Taluka participated in this Mela. This was an opportunity to express Pujyashri Gurudev’s immense love for children.

The children spent the entire day at the Ashram. During the first half of the day they were divided into different workshops where they enjoyed reading different kinds of books, and they learnt various skills like art & craft, Science experiments, drama, music and dance. It was truly an exhilarating experience for the children to express their talents.

The workshops ended at lunch time. The Cultural programme commenced thereafter. It began with an amazing Magic Show, which overjoyed the children. This was followed by beautiful skits, speeches, songs & dances performed by the children. It is remarkable that this was the first time these innocent children performed in front of such a large audience.

The programme ended with Pujyashri Gurudev presenting awards for the best performers of the workshops & the cultural programme. The children were overwhelmed by the blessings they received. They experienced love, peace, and a feeling of belongingness in the Ashram.
