Background

Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram, Dharampur is spread over 223 acres of land. With Param Krupalu Dev's Yogbal and Pujyashri Gurudev's love and compassion, devotees from India and all over the world are visiting the Dharampur Ashram with increasing sincerity and regularity. Further development of the Ashram is now being undertaken so that a larger number of seekers will be able to benefit from the Ashram.

In order to embark on such a monumental task, Pujyashri Gurudev has launched the Master Plan development of the Ashram, keeping in mind not only today’s needs, but also incorporating the needs 25 years hence.

The Real Master Plan

Obviously, Pujyashri Gurudev’s real Master Plan is to build within us a Kingdom of God, where there is a house full of love, a lake full of compassion, trees giving Divine refuge and a Gate that is always open, welcoming one and all.

When history is written on how Dharampur Ashram was built, it will say that it was beautifully designed by a Celestial Architect (Param Krupalu Dev), diligently executed by His Messenger on Earth (Pujyashri Gurudev), who out of His Selfless Love and Compassion invited thousands of devotees from all over the world to participate in the construction.

It is no coincidence that the Master Plan project has been launched at the end of the Bhagavad Gita year (2009). Pujyashri Gurudev has spent this whole year imparting the invaluable teachings of being a true Karmayogi; lessons that each and every sevak will have to imbibe in order to participate in the Master Plan Yajna.
