It is everyone’s experience that no one is ever bereft of Pujyashri Gurudev’s unlimited grace. In order to provide for the constant spiritual progress of the ever increasing number of devotees that visit the Ashram, a new Gita Yajnasthal has been constructed in the Ashram that was inaugurated on the auspicious day of Ram Navmi on the 3rd of April, 2009.
The key features of this grand hall are:
It is a 10,000 sq.ft. multi-purpose hall with capacity for accommodating approximately 2,000 people.
The hall is air-cooled for effective ventilation. A noteworthy feature of these air coolers is that the running cost of each air cooler is similar to that of a regular fan.
It has also been made wheelchair friendly.
With a full-fledge stage and green-rooms, the hall can be used for pravachans, dramas and special events, or alternatively as a dining hall as well.
It can also be used as a dormitory to provide overnight stay for 250 to 300 people.
Attached washroom and changing room facilities are available for gents and ladies.
A kitchen and general storage area has also been provided.
A striking feature of this gigantic hall, is that the whole structure can be dismantled with minimal wastage of material, and moved as per requirement.
Owing to the selfless dedication of the sevaks, this grand Gita Yajnasthal has been built within a mere 125 days. Thus, the hall certainly proves to be a boon for the various elevating activities held in the Ashram and will be greatly beneficial for spiritual aspirants and devotees.
