Shilanyas of Shri Atmasiddhiji Smarak, Nadiad
(1st October, '09)
On the auspicious day of Aso Vad Ekam in the vikram sanwant year 1952 at Nadiad in Gujarat, Param Krupalu Dev, Shrimad Rajchandraji wrote the legendary treatise - Shri Atmasiddhi Shastra for the spiritual enlightenment of a multitude of souls aiming at self realization. This succinct and accurate composition is a timeless masterpiece in philosophical literature. Shrimad Rajchandraji, in a simple form of question and answer, explains the substance of Jainism and in fact of all true religion in these remarkable 142 verses.

To keep this divine event alive forever and to express utmost gratitude towards this self illuminating revelation, under the auspices of Pujyashri Gurudev, a beautiful memorial or smarak will be built at the sanctified site where the sacred text was written. Preserving the blessed room, where this unparalleled literary work was created, in its original form; an attractive Jal Mandir will be constructed in the centre of the pond next to it. Thus, on Thursday 1st October to lay the foundation of this legendary structure, Pujyashri Gurudev undertook the Shilanyas ceremony amidst great celebration on the holy land of Nadiad.
