This
commentary, written by P.P.Gurudev is a revised version
of the thesis He wrote for His Ph.D. degree at Mumbai
University. Amongst Shrimadji's various spiritual works,
'Shri Atmasiddhi Shastra', consisting of 142 couplets,
stands out as one of His finest creations. In this exposition,
P.P.Gurudev has beautifully unveiled the hidden deep spiritual
wealth embedded in each couplet. Each couplet has been
explained in six parts, namely - (i) introduction (ii)
the couplet (iii) its literal meaning, (iv) a short explanation,
(v) an extensive discussion and (vi) a poetic summary
of the couplet. Along with this in-depth study of each
couplet, this commentary also includes a chapter on the
evaluation of Shri Atmasiddhi Shastra from both the literary
and spiritual points of view. Thus for all spiritual seekers,
