This summer let us all take shelter in Divine Grace at San “Die-ego”. In Pujyashri Gurudev’s cool and divine shade, we will learn how to surf the waves of life through His ever–motivating and elevating Pravachans, connect to the serene sea of peace within us through meditation, and dive deep into the ocean of devotional bhakti. 

Pujyashri Gurudev has also blessed this residential retreat with the rare opportunity to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima with HIM.

Note:
  • The retreat ends on Thursday 2nd July, 2009 (after lunch)
  • Signing-in for the retreat will begin on Tuesday 30th June at 3:00 p.m. and will go on until 7:00 p.m. Everyone must check in by 7:00 p.m. to ensure entry into the retreat.
  • Registration will remain open for 30 minutes before every pravachan.
  • Please assemble at least 15 minutes before the session begins.
  • Children under 10 years will not be allowed in the hall during sessions. They must be under supervision at all times.
  • Kindly keep your mobile phones/pagers switched off during sessions.
  • Meal Timings:

    Breakfast: 08:00 - 09:00 a.m. Lunch: 12:30 - 01:30 p.m.
    Tea: 03:00 - 03:30 p.m. Dinner: 06:30 - 07:15 p.m.

Registration
Please read the following details prior to registering for the Retreat:
  • This is a residential retreat - all activities are in one location. For your convenience, it is highly recommended that you stay in the hotel during the entire retreat to take maximum benefit from the retreat. However, staying at the hotel is not mandatory.
  • All the Pravachans, lodging and boarding are on the same premises and hence no transportation is required once you arrive at the resort.
  • Registration is on first come, first serve basis and will be closed once all spaces are filled. To ensure entrance, all the attendees are requested to register early (online) and immediately check-in on arrival at the hotel. Last minute entries will be permitted as per the space available.
  • Your registration will be confirmed via email. If you do not receive a confirmation within 48 hours, after your request, and for cancellations or modifications, please email sdretreat09@gmail.com.

  • Retreat entrance fees charged do not cover all expenses incurred, and sponsorships help pay for the deficits. If there are any surpluses, they are used to promote our organization's spiritual and humanitarian activities in India and abroad under Pujyashri Gurudev's guidance.
  • The sponsorship cost for any of the categories can be shared by more than one family.
  • Please understand that you are taking a laabh of Arti, Mangal Divo and Chamar for a nakro and the money collected will be used for general retreat and other expenses.

Accommodation

Information (must read for hotel rooms)
The following information pertains to hotel room booking at the Kona Kai Resort.

  • The venue for the Retreat is the Kona Kai Resort in San Diego, CA.
  • All participants are responsible for their own hotel/lodging arrangements. Registration for the retreat is required but does not include or guarantee hotel rooms.
  • As an aid to the attendees, we have negotiated a group discount rate with the Kona Kai Resort at $99 per night + taxes for upto 4 adults per room.
  • Click on the "Book your hotel" link below to reserve your room online or Call 1-800-566-2524 and use the Group Name "JAIN GROUP" to make your reservations.
  • Parking is at discounted rate of $5 per night.
  • To get the best rooms (ie water view) the reservations are first come first serve.
  • We have blocked 50 Double-bed rooms for this event. Once these are all taken, the hotel is not obligated to offer a discounted rate and may charge the then-going market rate which may be a lot higher. It is advisable to reserve early.
